I designed this project using Fusion 360 software to create a portable hex beam antenna that can be easily transported and set up in various locations. To begin building the antenna, I started by constructing the base plate, which measures 300 x 300 x 30 mm in size. The base plate features carefully spaced slots for the beam element, precisely 24mm apart, to ensure a secure fit. Additionally, holes for clamps are strategically placed 26mm apart, with a diameter of 12mm each, allowing for easy attachment and adjustment of the antenna's components. A central hole of 53mm in diameter provides clearance for any necessary cables or mounting hardware.
