I grabbed a copy of the Battletech Introductory Box Set. The minis are top-notch, but I was a bit underwhelmed by the bases. No biggie, I sorted that out with an adapter piece. It's not perfect, I won't lie – the angle's a hair off – but it fits all the minis just fine and helps mitigate some of the distortion on those molded bases.
