Hex and Square Interlocking Chainmail NASA Inspired + More

I have found myself needing flexible parts for a project of mine. Having decided on a chainmail type design, I have been creating additional pieces and variations. Inspired by traditional NASA chainmail, I created new models from scratch with added end caps modeled for two variations, Square and Hex. The Square and Hex pieces are scaled so they may be interlinked with each other. You can expand individuals links into large fully interlinked chainmail sheets in most 3d software. Individual sheets, strips and parts can be can be woven together to make ever larger sheets: 1. Cutting the links on one or both pieces where you would like them to join. 2. Link the chainmail sheets into place. 3. Re-melting the material with a soldering iron to "heal" the cut.
