The jigsaw puzzle is based on an L-System drawing from the system "YXF." The rules are as follows: X = X + FY, and Y = X - FF. The angle is set at 60 degrees. However, the resulting drawing may vary depending on how your L-system program interprets these rules. Sidefx.com's Houdini software has been used to create stunning visual effects in countless movies, but its accuracy in this specific context is uncertain. The puzzle offers multiple layers of clues and can be solved within 15-90 minutes, depending on the complexity. The layers are labeled for ease of use, but it's essential to verify that nothing has been mishandled. Recommended materials include 1/8" thick transparent or translucent acrylic for the puzzle pieces and 1/4" MDF for the backing, although a flat surface can suffice. To assemble, use four 1/4" carriage bolts (1/2"-3/4" long) and four 1/4" wing nuts. Exercise caution due to sharp edges, and note that the pieces were designed to fit snugly on an 18" by 24" laser bed.
