HEVO Z axis anti-wobble bracket
thingiverse
My Z-motors, when attached to the HEVO frame, aren't perfectly vertical and rattle whenever the bed moves up and down. You will need two 608ZZ (8x22x7mm) bearings for a snug friction fit. Initially, I designed a smaller version that worked fine with the original parts, which had terrible tolerance. However, once I upgraded to proper prints, the bolt head got in the way. I considered recessing the bolt but realized there wouldn't be enough plastic left. Therefore, I created my own take on a flying-buttress bracket – it's not exactly what it sounds like. The small version has been printed and functions properly, while the large version remains unprinted.
