WORK IN PROGRESS\r\n- fixed several errors in the lm12luu holder\r\n\r\n\r\nfully tested triple Z remix is now available. If you want to replicate the XY idler setup seen in the screenshots, check out my f623ZZ set under my designs. This design is fairly straightforward, requiring two of the Z bearing mounts, three t8 nut brackets, three 608 bearing brackets, three 40t pulley brackets, one Z motor mount, one tensioner, two Z rod tops and two bottoms. The intended belt alignment is clearly shown in the image above. For optimal length, aim for a 1520mm long closed loop belt. I tested this design with a 1360mm belt and found it to be slightly too short. To adjust tension, simply pull the motor mount away from the tensioner. This part utilizes f623ZZ bearings, specifically eight of them. A cross-section image demonstrates how belts should be inserted. As the first part belt is looped through, feeding the tiny bearings in the right sequence with belt will be much easier. The Z axis rod mounts are designed to hold a 40-tooth pulley, paired with a 16-tooth pulley on the stepper motor. The entire axis is intended to interlock, maximizing Z build volume. With my 220x220 bed, there's no interference with where the Z motor is placed, but for larger beds you may lose about 60mm due to motor height. Holding the frame together should be done with 2020 corner brackets next to the rod mounts. If anything feels too tight, let me know - the 608 holders and the 12mm rod holders were designed to be press-fit and self-centering, though it's possible they may have been made too tight. I've included a 6-bearing spool holder for added convenience. If any conflicts arise or if you notice anything missing, please let me know. After further testing, I found that the leadscrew bearing holders cause some binding and wobble. Initially, I tested this design with no 12mm smooth rods, using all leadscrews instead. For the best results, leave the leadscrews uncaptured at the top.
