These are some remixes of parts for the Hypercube Evo designed specifically to use Gates idlers. The idlers rest securely in place by means of 5 mm axles, which require drilling out with a 5mm drill to achieve a precise fit. To install them properly, press the axles firmly into position and rely on friction to hold them in place, taking care not to damage the bearings inside the idlers. The XY idler necessitates one standard print for one side and a flipped print for the other side. Conversely, the XCarrier is cleverly designed like the original and functions seamlessly on both sides when turned upside down. This remix was engineered with 10mm Y rods and 8mm X rods in mind. Both major parts demand considerable support material during printing and may require some filing to ensure a smooth fit of the idlers. Achieving this tight fit requires some patience and attention to detail. According to my recollection, it's the thin X flag that fits perfectly in its designated slot. This design has been a trusted favorite for over half a year.
