Hevo Modded Fanduct Carriage
thingiverse
10/29/2019 I redesigned the carriage to make it more functional. The fan mount screw requires a 25mm long M4, yet the design still uses Scott3D's duct from the Hevo collection. The carriage mount is centered at 25mm with a 3x2 configuration allowing me to use it on my original printer and when I build my Hevo, I can easily adapt the whole carriage. Currently, the BLTouch Z offset (M851) is -1.4 but three different spacers are included for adjustment purposes. Conveniently placed wire runs keep things tidy while restricting cable movement to above the carriage. ====================================== The extruder mount remains unchanged except for additional material added to the bottom for more screw holes. Unfortunately, the minute adjustments required to position the duct outlet at the precise height relative to the nozzle only allow for staggered through holes which means you can attach the duct to the carriage on one side but now have an option. I used this design on my Tevo Tarantula printer before building my Hevo; when my print is complete, I'll take a photo and upload it for reference purposes.
