Existing 8mm acrylic Y Axis motor mount did not provide sufficient space for Astrosyn Damper. Dimensions of existing mount were measured and a new design was created using OnShape software, retaining the original thickness of 8mm and reducing the area for damper to 4mm. The new mount was printed and installed successfully without any special printer settings required, although standard .4 nozzle and .2 layer height should work as well. In my case, I used a .2 nozzle and .16 layer height, resulting in much finer detail than necessary.
