Hesine 505 and ANET A8 Blower Upgrade
pinshape
The Hesine 505 printer boasts a unique blower design, where the blower is situated at a 90-degree angle to the Extruder, making it quite challenging to install a custom blower nozzle. In contrast, the OEM Blower nozzle is engineered to create a deliberate restriction that limits airflow. By adjusting the Blower angle to a more accessible 30 degrees, users can easily print multiple styles of blower nozzles, while the nozzle design itself enhances airflow. The base attaches securely to the existing blower mount with M3 X .5 X 8mm socket head cap screws, and the blower mount plate connects to the base using two - 2-56 X .250" screws. Meanwhile, the blower is attached to the mount plate via M4 Nylon screws (which require tapping the plate for a secure fit), while the nozzle attaches to the mount plate with two - 2-56 X .250" socket head cap screws. For detailed assembly instructions, refer to "assembly1 and 2." As this modified blower setup allows for increased airflow, users may need to reduce their blower output accordingly. With this upgrade, you'll be able to enjoy smoother printing results!
