The H3 feeder unit has provided me greater happiness compared to the original, but it still requires enhancements. I replaced my herringbone gear with a quieter alternative, which is more silent than both the original and H3 gears. My source for the herringbone gear was http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:40334, but I increased its size by 15% to fit in the larger area of the H3 feeder. Using 1mm settings with a 75% infill allows enough room for oozing to overflow.
