I tweaked the scad parameters and exported each gear individually in order to improve the printing parameters per gear. Specifically I changed the distance between axles to 41mm. Be aware that these gears are 11/45 while standard gears come with my Prusa i3 Rework at 10/43. Adjust your extruder steps per unit by calculating the ratio difference: (10 x 45) / (11 x 43) = 450 / 473 Make sure to line up the gears well before tightening I did this by first fastening the large gear and leaving the small gear loose on the motor axle. Then I spun the large gear around and tightened the small gear between the two extremes I found This way both front gears are about flush with each other Instructions I printed these gears in PLA with 0.5mm nozzle Adjust temperatures as needed for your specific setup I printed the small gear with concentric infill which works well but I recommend rectilinear for the hub because it created a gap under my settings You can also choose 100% infill of course I ended up with an open top so 2 solid top layers probably fix that Small gears Print time: 1 hour 40 minutes and 14 seconds Layer height: 0.1mm Print speed: 15mm per second Infill: 90% concentric minimum perimeters: 0 solid fill top & bottom: 3 Fan: 50% all the way starting on layer 3 (100% bridges) Bed temp first layer: 60°C Bed temp: 55°C Extruder temp first layer: 200°C Extruder temp: 190°C Large gears Print time: 3 hours and 5 minutes and 8 seconds Layer height: 0.1mm Print speed: 30mm per second Infill: 90% concentric minimum perimeters: 0 solid fill top: 2 solid bottom: 1 Fan: 60% all the way starting on layer 3 (100% on bridges) Bed temp first layer: 60°C Bed temp: 50°C Extruder temp first layer: 200°C Extruder temp: 190°C The large gear lifted off the bed at one end but came out very nice in the second run
