If you're too busy to search for the perfect texture, using a brim is a great alternative. The built-in support beneath it provides excellent stability, but it barely makes contact with the build plate, which can cause it to slip without a brim in place. I considered having Cura pause at a specific height and switch from red to black, but ultimately decided against it, opting instead for a sleek look achieved by applying a black Sharpie directly to the top surface.
