Summary Easy Fix for Missing Heroquest Treasure Chest Piece; a Replacement Solution We Found. We lost half of the treasure chest in our long-running game of Heroquest, so we created this replacement piece. It didn't make sense to spend $3 on a complete new one and an additional $4 for shipping on eBay. The current eBay shipping and handling prices are unreasonable. Match two of these pieces together and print them out with your favorite treasure chest texture, preferably in color. We recommend using Kev's Lounge Paper Prints - Dungeon Furniture Pack for the best results. This 3D model includes a pin hole to attach the weird little barrel bar that holds the two sides together, but it's not necessary. You can also use toothpicks if you don't glue your inserts to the plastic. The print is flat and ready in under 15 minutes without any support needed. We used acetone to soften the rivets, which are rounded in the original model. This project was a great way to teach kids about tolerances and using digital calipers. You can modify it on Tinkercad as needed depending on the thickness of the card stock you use. This 3D model was created with Tinkercad.
