This revised design slightly reduces the door size by trimming off some of the front and back of its base, addressing the issue of large door bases seen in HeroQuest, which often made it difficult for characters to stand directly in front of doors. The remake remains extremely stable and does not compromise usability in any way. Additionally, I filled in the open slot at the base of the original model, resulting in a minor savings of print time and filament. Update 11/18/2018: Following a 10-hour play session today, I can confirm that these doors exhibit no stability issues despite their smaller bases. I am thoroughly satisfied with how they performed.
