The snap feature on the bases was taken from artobot's "Heroclix Modern Identifier Token". The design of the bases has undergone changes since then, resulting in figures created after Secret Wars: Battleworld (10/01/18) no longer "snap" into place. However, these figures will still fit onto the base. Heroclix_Base_with_Object_Holder.stl The Heroclix Base with Object Holder was designed for special objects attached to gear-styled plastic bases. The character and object fit securely to the base, preventing them from falling out. This design can also accommodate standard round light/heavy cardboard objects, although they may not fit as snugly as the gear-based objects. Examples include Wonder Woman with a tight-fitting venom harness and Wonder Woman with a loose-fitting heavy object. Heroclix_Base_with_Token_Holder.stl A thicker slot was added to the back for accommodating thicker items such as action tokens or poker chips. Due to varying thicknesses of branded and custom tokens, this slot may not provide a snug fit but rather a loose one. An example is provided in the pictures, featuring the thug with the Bebop token.
