Hero Me Gen2 60mm Fan
thingiverse
I wanted my Ender 3 to be as quiet as possible, so I installed a 60mm shroud on the Hero Me and paired it with a 60mm Nanoxia fan. This fan is truly the best small fan available in the market: it produces 12 dBA at 12V and an astonishing 6 dBA at 7V. Its airflow performance is impressive, moving 16 CFM of air at 12V and a still respectable 10 CFM at 7V. I estimate that my Ender's stock fan runs around 3 CFM, but I have no idea about its decibel level, which sounds like it's between 15 to 17. To achieve complete silence from my new fan, I'm running it off a buck converter set to 10v.
