During the Great Hunt, many wizards and users of magic chose death rather than betray their brothers or reveal a secret about their craft. The Dark Wizard's loyalty was so strong that it inspired others to follow suit. However, some among them were too afraid of torture and death to take a stand. They lacked courage, opting instead for the path of treason, where they collaborated against their own kind in the Great Hunt. At the time, "Illusionist" was a term used to mock students of magic who had turned their backs on honor. It became synonymous with infamy and cowardice during those dark years. One such individual now enters the Dark Wizard's chambers, believing they're entering voluntarily – though the shadow of enslavement looms over their mind, even if they're not aware of it yet. 06/11/18 EDIT: The 22mm version has been added, which is the correct scale for the game.
