The elven folk have always dwelled apart from men, governed by their own distinct laws and moral codes. Yet, as time passed, alliances and trade between the two species flourished with increasing frequency. With the downfall of the Council, many sorcerers sought refuge in the neighboring kingdom of the Elves, only to find their doors slammed shut and their arrows trained squarely on them. These beings had no desire to become embroiled in human disputes, let alone entangle themselves with something as tainted as magic. When the war finally ended with the Dark Wizard's triumphant victory, the Elves dispatched an embassy to the castle of their conquerors - a gesture that resulted in only their mounts returning to report on the reception. The elves quickly grasped the message and thereafter severed all ties between the two parties. Perhaps it is for this reason that one member of the elven race now ventures into the castle, driven by a mix of hope and desperation. Maybe he seeks to rescue his long-lost brethren or, at the very least, uncover their fate and bring closure to the mystery surrounding them. Note: This work is a minor reworking of Dutchmogul's Starfall Sentinel; I've merely replaced its foundation and scaled up the entire model to 28mm, allowing it to integrate seamlessly with my other remodels.
