Hermitage museum
thingiverse
Students at the UTech Lab crafted a replica of the Hermitage museum during a 3D Printing workshop. The State Hermitage, a renowned art and culture institution in Saint Petersburg, Russia, boasts impressive collections and is one of the world's largest and oldest museums. It marks the fifteenth landmark created through a series of 3D printing workshops at UTech Lab. Following each workshop, a new landmark is added to the Europe 3D Printed Map located on the ground floor of the lab. This map showcases completed projects such as the Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, Parthenon, Belem Tower, Sagrada Familia, Colosseum, Pisa Tower, Brandenburg Gate, Saint Basil's Cathedral, White Tower of Thessaloniki, Hagia Sophia, Stortorget, Grundtvig's Church, and Hallgrímskirkja. To learn more about these projects, visit the UTech Lab website at http://eugenweb3.eugenfound.edu.gr/utech. MakerBot Replicator 2X printers were used to produce these models with settings optimized for efficient printing: no rafts or supports were employed in this process.
