Hermit Crab Tool Plate (Reinforced)
thingiverse
One of the challenges with the Biqu's Hermit Crab setup is that it adds a lot of weight and the tool plates are not the cheapest if you just want to build a custom attachment (like a pen plotter)This model uses m2.5 x 20mm screws to improve the strength of the mounting points. You can customize with more holes for your own attachments. For the center piece, m2.5 x 18mm will be better because the depth of the screw is important to the fit of your tool (otherwise it may hit linear rail mount). However, if you don't have 18mm screws, and the depth of the screw head doesn't block anything, just make sure the tail of the screw does not stick out the end on the hook side.Note I did not tune my hole horizontal expansion, so you may have to tweak your slicer settings to get the holes sized correctly. With my printer, the holes for the screw heads is a snug fit.
