Hermit Crab Mecha

Battletech Hermit Crab. This mech does not currently have a model in production or a publicly available model for printing, so I made one. The model was designed in large format so it will need to be scaled down per the instructions below. Additionally, there are two files. The Strong joints file has had structures added to reenforce the arm joint areas to make printing and release from support structures easier. The 1.0 file has a manifold issue on the right arm that allows the mid ball joint to separate from the print and be repositioned. For those planning to print this lil guy: scale to 20% for a 1.25in hex base, it’s going to need a good amount of rotation- the claws, ankles, and knees are the weak points so you will have to be extra careful when removing supports. I have strengthened the connections on the claw bits but they are still small.
