Hermes Mount for Anycubic Chiron
thingiverse
This is a remix of Pankomputerek's mount. Thank you for your great work! :)\r\n\r\nCHANGES:\r\n° Every connection is now clearly labelled, making installation a breeze.\r\n° The belt connection has been modified to match the factory belt connection exactly.\r\n° The Z-probe sensor has been lowered to allow for the addition of a nut if desired.\r\n° The Z-probe plate has been modified to enable hotend changes without disassembly.\r\n° The cable chain horn has been moved to the other side, providing more slack in the cable chain.\r\n° You will need to print the included Z flags to ensure clearance for this mount.\r\n° If the X limit switch misses the bolt it presses against, just add a couple washers to make that bolt taller. Two washers solved it for me!\r\n\r\nUPDATE:\r\n° A cutout has been added to allow for hotend removal without disassembly. Supports are required to print.\r\n\r\nUPDATE2:\r\n° Extra room has been provided for X limit switch wiring.\r\n° Based on feedback, an extra 2.5mm of clearance has been added for the Z flag fasteners. The Z flags file I have here is still required. Please print the Z flags in black so the optical sensor sees them best. If you do not have black filament, a black marker may be used.\r\n\r\nNOTE:\r\nThis extruder mount is designed specifically for linear rails. An easy and worthwhile upgrade, particularly suitable for MN12H blocks (20x20mm holes) such as these-https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0788JHVBP/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_7IsgEb8XT0DQP\r\n\r\nAs with any extruder mount, please print this in a temperature resilient material like ABS.\r\n\r\nIf you found this helpful, consider sending a cup of coffee to BTC: 1BdutMUpCm37NxBSQzA45E7vWEkwbwfJt5
