This is a replacement Herman Miller Aeron armrest guide/indexer for earlier model chairs that used a spring. The design was later updated to eliminate the spring. The picture shows my original broken guide, which is black. I created this piece because I couldn't find a suitable replacement anywhere. This model closely matches the originals and works with some sanding, but may need modifications to print directly from the printer. The hole appears slightly too small, and the guide channel might be too narrow. However, these issues could have been caused by my printer's performance, which has been affected by filament problems. The solidworks model is available for download if you want to make adjustments yourself. January 14, 2019: My printed orange indexers failed soon after installation, so I reprinted a new set and installed them. They fit perfectly without any need for resizing the original model.
