Heritage Bathrooms Cistern lever sleeve replacement
cults3d
The flusher handle for my Heritage Bathrooms cistern is held in place by a plastic sleeve with a flange on the outside and it is held in place by a large nut on the inside. The flange had ripped off by regular use, but cannot be replaced. This caused the lever to be very loose in the hole, making it wonky. Enter the 3D printer: lets fix this :) Update: after several testprints I have found the best fit for the nut. The brim on top of the sleeve was too wide to pass through the threads and the nut needs to be printed a bit larger than 100%. I have tried to increase the size of the opening in the nut in Fusion360, but the threads will alway stay the same size, it just creates a gap between thread and surface? It could well be that my new AmazonBasics PLA is causing issues for me, I have not checked flow and e-steps with this product. So: print I printed the nut at 102% in X and Y direction (not in Z, or the thread won't work!). I have made the washer 3 mm high, this makes the fit nice and snug, there is hardly any lateral give now. Happy with the final result.
