Hello! I created this project to mount my rear Hercules XPS 5.1 speakers on the wall of my new home. These old speakers still work great and I wanted to free up space behind me since I don't have a shelf in my new house. I only needed the rear left speaker, but you can easily mirror-reverse it if you need the right one as well. The design requires two 6mm diameter anchors - I used just one, which makes it unstable.
