Hercules-class Assault Cruiser

My rendition of the Hercules-class Assault Cruiser from Halo showcases a simplified appearance and reduced file size by removing most thrusters and turrets. I may or may not texture this model to enhance its visual appeal. The Hercules-class assault cruiser is a capital ship classification within the UNSC Navy, specializing in troop transportation and planetary assaults. Its capabilities make it well-suited for these roles. While the Halcyon-class light cruiser is often considered an outdated relic of the UNSC fleet, the Hercules can be seen as its more ancient counterpart - a design that dates back to the early colonization days. As the largest UNSC cruiser class, it is a behemoth in size but lacks the combat prowess to match. Its primary function is delivering peacekeeping troops to newly established colonies, but this comes at a significant cost. The Hercules's armor is woefully inadequate, its reactors are outdated, and acceleration and turning speeds are sluggish. In fact, these cruisers were initially without MACs or Archer missiles until the Human-Covenant War necessitated their rapid deployment. As a result, many Hercules-class ships were rescued from scrapyards, modified on the fly, and hastily put into service to meet the urgent needs of the UNSC Navy during that conflict.
