This life-size head of a mature Hercules with a thick beard was crafted for mounting on a separate body. A Roman adaptation, it is likely a copy of a fourth-century B.C. bronze sculpture depicting the exhausted hero. The head dates back to the 1st-early 2nd century A.D. This object is part of "Scan The World".
