"Hercules" An internal combustion jet hybrid engine

In the past, I had an idea for an engine design featuring a dual Pendelton concept with mated rotors connected via high-speed gears. The engine employs turbochargers or bi-axial turbines as intake and compression stroke aids. Pressurized air pushes on the rotors until intake ports are sealed. The combined pressurized air is mixed with fuel and spark in the lower section via direct injector and spark plug. Gas pressure escapes between rotors, applying force; it's then reignited for complete burn before exhausting through ports, further driving the rotors. This concept has been on my computer for years, hoping to inspire others. Please feel free to ask any questions!
