Herb Tags

There are times when tending to the herb garden that it becomes unclear which herbs have been seeded and where they are located. The 3D printed labels provide a clear solution to this problem by making the planting always visible. The labels are printed in PETG to minimize yellowing, fading, and reduce the effects of the sun. PLA is known to suffer these issues over time (6+ months). Five herb tags have been included so far: Oregano, Thyme, Sage, Coriander, and Parsley. Over time, it's expected that the collection will grow, so check back for updates. The labels are 155mm long and 31mm wide at the label end, with text that is 10mm high and highly visible. Your labeling needs may vary from mine. Leave a comment on your requirements, and if there's enough interest, additional tag label variations can be added to match. To enhance the print result, a filament color swap is done near the end so that the raised text is printed in another color and becomes more visible. The filament color swap is easily set up in slicer software such as PrusaSlicer, or possibly other slicers too. The print is made using PETG 1.75mm filament with a 0.2mm layer height on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer. A 15% infill density was chosen, and the text is written in Aurarum silver while the tag is printed in 3DFillies white. It's hoped that this print will also be useful to others.
