To avoid confusion over weeds in your herb garden, create simple signs for identification. When selling our house, these homemade signs impressed visitors and even our Realtor. To make them, print out the desired sign designs, glue a mount on the back using MEK or acetone. The mount's hole fits 1/4 inch steel round bar, easily found at local home centers or welding shops. Cut the bar to size and attach the signs. Finish by painting raised lettering with trim paint that matches your house.
