4 Piece functional Herb Grinder just like you'd find in store. Surprisingly strong enough for the job. Pieces screw together easy and printed screen doesn't do a bad job for a pollen screen. The screen is easily press-fit and/or glued into the underside of the bottom-middle piece. The grinder teeth were optimized for 3d printing and strength and are reliable and durable. The idea is to minimize shear stress across layers and optimize shape to reduce shear forces. The result were grinder teeth that are wide, relatively thin, tapered, and shaped co-radially to limit shear stress due to torsion on teeth. The teeth edges are also rounded to encourage movement of herb. You may have a couple teeth tips break from poorly printed spots but aside from that it will be functional for a long time. Obviously since this is plastic you should avoid grinding big/thick stems because those have higher potential for damage. - Print parts with teeth (top, top-middle) teeth up, 100% infill, and 0.1mm layer height. - Print screen at 100% infill and 0.1mm layer height, and 0.4mm nozzle. - Print remaining parts at least 25-50% infill and 0.1-0.15mm layer height. - Print all (except screen) with supports ON at 50 degree angle, touching only the bed plate, with Support x-y Distance at 0.8mm, and nozzle being smaller than or equal to 0.4mm for BEST results.
