Herakles from Hadrian's villa in Tivoli crafted by Skopas, a renowned Greek artist of mid 4th century BC, now housed in Rome's finest replica at the J.P. Getty Museum in Malibu, California and The Royal Cast Collection in Copenhagen, Denmark. This magnificent sculpture was created using Memento Beta software from AutoDesk, now known as ReMake. Heracles, also known as Alcaeus or Alcides, was a legendary divine hero in ancient Greek mythology. Born to Zeus and the mortal woman Alcmene, he was raised by Amphitryon, his foster father, and was also the great-grandson and half-brother of Perseus, both sons of the powerful god Zeus. As the greatest of all Greek heroes, Heracles embodied masculinity and strength, becoming an ancestor to royal families who claimed descent from him. In Rome and modern Western cultures, he is revered as Hercules. The most famous stories about his life are The Twelve Labours of Heracles, a testament to his unwavering courage and unshakeable resolve.
