Herakles
thingiverse
In ancient Rome's early 1st century AD, Herakles emerged as a masterful marble sculpture at the Nye Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen, Denmark. The hero proudly grasps the golden apples of the Hesperides behind his back, a feat he accomplished for King Eurystheus as one of the Twelve Labors. These prized apples were said to grant eternal life, and Herakles' achievement was an exact replica of Polykleitos' timeless masterpiece from around 450 B.C.
