Heraeus Incubtor Doorhandle
thingiverse
The door latch on an incubator came apart. This is a replacement unit. A 3-millimeter steel shaft goes through the hole and lets you open and close the glass door with ease. The thickness of the wall around the axis is just over a millimeter more than it should be, which might cause some stability problems, but there just wasn't enough space available. Print Settings Rafts: Don't even worry about this setting. Supports: Yes, supports are absolutely necessary in this design. Resolution: The print resolution is set to 0.1 millimeters. Notes: This model was printed using a Formlabs Form1 printer with formlabs black resin and a 0.1-millimeter layer height. How I Designed This I came up with the initial design on Autodesk Inventor software. Attached here is an ipt-file that you can use to adjust this design further if needed. All parameters are still retained within it.
