Hepta lamp

Hepta lamp

I designed this lamp around number 7 or multiples of 7, which I find really appealing. The entire thing features seven sides, fourteen arms, each arm holding a heptagon-shaped profile polygon. All the arms are hollow and connect from top to bottom, allowing me to install an LED inside without any visible wires. I created two interchangeable caps for the top and bottom with different heights. One can easily add batteries inside either the top or bottom instead of running them to the exterior, which is my chosen route. I used 12V LED strips that I cut and soldered individually since they don't dissipate too much heat. The top and bottom heptagonal pyramids have threads for easy removal. My idea was that you can unscrew the bottom hepta prism and replace it with different designs of your own, featuring various colors. They are printed without any infill, so the LED will illuminate the removable light fixtures. Once assembled, the lamp is quite large but it can still fit on a print bed like the Prusa MK2 or similar one that I used.
