Introducing Hephaistos, a lightweight, foldable carbine concept inspired by the Chiappa Little-Badger. This innovative firearm is designed to be lighter, smaller, stronger, and more precise than its counterpart, albeit at a higher production cost. The focus of this design is on minimizing weight while maximizing functionality in survival situations. It forgoes Picatinny rails as they are deemed unnecessary in true survival scenarios, preferring instead to keep the firearm lightweight so that more ammunition can be carried and better materials used for its construction. Tech specs include a 22 long rifle caliber with a 16-inch hardened chrome steel barrel, aluminum breech and stock, adjustable rear sight, tritium inserts on both sights, and a unique push-case system that allows easy removal of empty cases without ejecting them to the floor. The finished product boasts a black anodized stock, breech, and sights, with a nickel finish on the barrel and chamber. Weighing approximately 2.18 lbs (0.989 kg), this Belgian-inspired firearm has an overall folded length of 20.296 inches (515.5 mm) and a deployed length of 33.937 inches (862 mm). Salutations from Belgium! Bon travail!
