HEPA Mask - Roomba filter cartridge

Since N95 masks are scarce, many people are making their own, some using HEPA filters and cloth for filtration. I thought I might have found a filter cartridge that would work as-is, and it seems to be effective. These are Roomba i7 replacement filters available from Amazon, with three different designs: dual-sided, single-sided, and a mask with a single filter in the center. For best results, print the main part in PLA and heat it with a blow dryer to form a comfortable fit on your face, while printing the rings in PETG for superior layer adhesion. I used adhesive-backed extruded foam to create a seal around the back, which can be purchased via McMasterCarr. I will add links to the components as I have time. Seal the surface of the mask before use! Surface fillers like Bondo glaze putty and acrylic paint work well together. Update 04/07/20: I added an insert to address concerns about inhaling HEPA filter fibers. Since filters pass HEPA certification, they should not shed fibers that would also cause a test failure, but without further testing, I prefer to add the part and mitigate the risk. Besides, I aim to please. Update 04/13/20: I added several screenshots of what I believe is the best orientation for the double filter mask. These shots are taken with a 60-degree support angle, and it printed beautifully. Note: This device has not been evaluated by the FDA. I make no claims about its ability to prevent or treat any disease. It is provided free of charge; use at your own risk.
