UPDATE: 03/07/2016 Found a crucial flaw in the design. To effectively filter the air, you must attach an extension piece to the carbon chamber, ensuring that no air bypasses the carbon at the frontmost lip. (See Picture) UPDATE: 03/07/2016 Added Assembly Video on YouTube. This remix of Rod Laird's Replicator 2/2x respirator filter air scrubber is a significant modification, and you can find the original design here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:12345. I'd like to thank Rod Laird for his innovative work on this project. This revised version includes several key improvements and modifications. Key Improvements: * Enhanced Airflow: The revised design features a more efficient airflow system, ensuring that the air passes through the carbon chamber at optimal rates. * Improved Filter Performance: The modified filter design allows for better capture of airborne particles, resulting in cleaner air output. * Simplified Assembly: The updated assembly process is more straightforward and requires minimal additional parts. Supplies: 1. High-Quality Silicon 2. Adjustable 12VDC Power Supply 3. 1/2" x 1/8" Neodymium Magnets for Printer Top and Door 4. Rubber Bands 5. Roomba 800 HEPA Filters (Non-OEM) 6. Activated Carbon Pellets 7. Super Glue Printed Items: * Front Cowl * Motor Coupler Insert * Motor Filter Coupling * Filter Body Top * Filter Body Grate * Filter Body Bottom * Filter Body End Cover * Filter Body Stand * Chamber Extension Assembly Steps: 1. Superglue the second Filter Body Grate to the inside of the Filter Body Top. 2. Attach the Motor Filter Coupling to the Filter Body Top and seal the inside seam with silicone. 3. Superglue the Filter Body End Cover to the bottom of the Filter Body Bottom. 4. Attach The Motor Filter Coupling to the Motor. 5. Attach the rubber bands to hold everything in place. Note: You may need to double the rubber bands on the bottom due to the weight of the body. Installation: 1. Install into printer (on right for FFCP) and line up everything keeping the Front Cowl right up against the 'steel' corner. 2. Use a red, gold, or silver marker and outline the Front Cowl to the rear wall of the printer. 3. Remove air scrubber. 4. Carefully cut out marked area on back wall with a Dremel. You're done!
