Hepa and Charcoal filter for Ikea Stuva Enclosure

Hepa and Charcoal filter for Ikea Stuva Enclosure

thingiverse

This is a revised design tailored to fit snugly within an Ikea Stuva enclosure without consuming excessive space - just 40.5mm thick inside, 5mm outside. A slight modification has been incorporated for v1.1 of the filter body. Upon printing, I discovered that the Corsair HD120 fan required a tight fit, making it challenging to insert. To address this issue, the internal walls surrounding the fan have been adjusted to provide an additional 1mm of clearance, facilitating easier installation. The thin outer edge at the top has also been reinforced, minimizing the risk of breakage if mishandled. Furthermore, the inside cover has been widened by 1mm to maintain flushness with the updated body dimensions. A minor adjustment has been made to the outside cover as well, allowing for greater clearance to prevent bending, as seen in a previous image. This revised design includes a jig for accurately drilling holes and an interior template for cutting out the filter hole. To assemble this enclosure, you will need: * 4 M3 x 33mm or longer screws to secure it to the cabinet * 4 M3 x 12mm screws to hold the charcoal filter in place * 8 M3 hex nuts to secure those screws When assembling, use M3 screws initially to draw the hex nut into the four nut traps that hold the body to the enclosure's side. Then, remove the M3 screws and pass them through the holes in the enclosure's side before screwing them in place.
