HEPA air filter with 92mm fan
thingiverse
I wanted to be able to print with ABS-filaments, but since I have an Ender 3 I didn't think I could do that without an enclosure. So I started printing parts for a IKEA Lack enclosure and I wanted to be able to extract the toxic fumes out of the enclosure into the room and at the same time filter all the particles. I have an air purifier from Clervio to which I have an extra filter which I used for my design. The whole piece is supposed to be mounted on the back wall of the enclosure and create an under pressure in the whole enclosure so that the toxic fumes won't leak into the room. I haven't been able to test it yet, but I've printed all the files for the big filter and assembled it, and it fits together really nice and tight. I say "Big filter" since I also made a version for a NATO filter (commonly used in filter masks). If you prefer this model, I would suggest a ABEK2-P3 filter. This model I haven't printed, so I don't really know wether it works or not. For the fan I use a standard 92mm computer fan. Disclaimer: I don't claim that this will filter all the toxic fumes and/or particles! This is my second 3D design ever. I added the blender files to the list of files. For the print, I used a 0.8mm nozzle and all parts can be printed on an Ender 3 without supports. It will cost you a lot of filament though!
