HEPA Air Filter Mount
thingiverse
This is a HEPA air filter mount for a 3D printer enclosure, designed to serve as an exhaust fan that pulls polluted air from the enclosure and prevents micro particles and plastic smells from spreading into the surrounding room where printing takes place. It utilizes a standard 120mm computer fan to draw in air from within the enclosure. This is my very first custom design project. I employed OpenJSCad to create this STL model, which can be found on github along with the original .jscad file used for its creation. Suitable HEPA Filters are available at the specified link. While I have successfully printed out this particular design, it still remains untested as an air filter since my 3D printer enclosure is not yet fully complete. Print Settings Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Notes: I used Hatchbox black PLA for the print, and it took approximately 9.5 hours to complete.
