Henry VIII's Crown
thingiverse
The iconic crown worn by Henry VIII at Hampton Court Palace is recreated, replacing its original destroyed at the Tower of London in 1649. Made from silver gilt with 344 gemstones and five religious sculptures, it was meticulously reconstructed in 2012 by Crown Jeweler Harry Collins using historical records and paintings. This replica was scanned using advanced 3D technology before being printed using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and Stereolithography (SLA).
