Rewritten text: A detailed scan of a male face from the Henry Bowen Anthony fountain located at Lippit Park, Providence RI, can be printed using "maleStoneFace1_Base.stl". This file is part of various scans taken from the same fountain and featured in "Scanning in 3D" chapter of Getting Started with MakerBot. The scan without base is also available for those who wish to modify OpenSCAD, making sure the "maleStoneFace1.stl" is in the same directory. When printing, rotate the model so the flat side faces down on the platform. However, note that this particular face turned out slightly larger than other faces from the same fountain, and as such, it's marked as a "Work in Progress". Check out these linked things: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:32113 &http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:32298 for more details on the fountain. The fountain, designed by Providence firm Jackson, Robertson & Adams in a modern style, was installed in 1940 to honor Rhode Island U.S. Senator Henry Bowen Anthony, who served as a U.S. senator (1859 to 1884), Rhode Island governor (1849-1851), and publisher of The Providence Journal. It is the centerpiece of Lippitt Park at the head of Blackstone Boulevard near Pawtucket city line.
