One of the UK's most intricately inscribed stones stands out for its deliberate markings. A study by Andy Jones and myself pinpointed 105 cup marks, with up to 47 linear features radiating from or connecting them seamlessly together. Read a widely read article in the Telegraph or access the comprehensive research published in Time and Mind if your organization has a subscription. This model was generously funded by the Cornwall Archaeological Society. The cup marks and grooves can be clearly observed using the "matcap" shader, which is accessible by clicking or tapping the cube icon located on the lower right of the viewer. Read my perspective on this groundbreaking discovery. Note about this model: this is an early version of the data that has been significantly reduced in quality to facilitate online viewing.
