Hemera Spacer Mount for FYSETC Direct Drive Plate
thingiverse
I have both a PrinterMods and a FYSETC direct drive plate for my printers. The PrinterMods one has no mounts for the Hemera natively, but the FYSETC does. Problem being that if you bolt the Hemera right to it, you can't actually put the v-roller bolts or MGN linear rail mount screws in because the Hemera sits flush against the plate. This solves the issue for the v-roller bolts. It simply spaces the Hemera out 6mm. It's still a little tricky to get the v-roller bolts tight, but it's definitely doable with a ball end allen to keep it from spinning while you turn the nylock nut with a wrench. To install: 1. Insert the v-roller bolts with the allen head towards the front of the printer/plate 2. Fully assemble and tighten the v-roller in the upper left 3. Lay the Hemera face down with the mounting holes up 4. Place the spacer on the Hemera in the correct orientation 5. Use 12mm M3 machine screws through the back of the plate into the Hemera using the 3 holes marked for Hemera 6. Assemble and tighten the remaining 2 v-roller assemblies with a ball end allen wrench and appropriately sized spanner wrench for the nylock nuts. 7. Install entire assembly on printer
