Hi friends ! Here is a mount to assemble an E3D Hemera to the standard BLV MGN Cube. Its features are as follows: - Four mounting points on the hemera for extra stability. - BL-Touch Mount at the back of the carriage. - Optical endstop below the carriage. - Easy assembly/disassembly of the belts with clamps. - All four mounting point at the front free for part cooling fan and others. - Neat Cable Management with zipties. To assemble it, you will need a variety of screws: - 8 M3x8 screws for the belt tensionner - 4 M3x8 screws for the top carriage - 2 M3x8 screws for the BL Touch - 2 M3X6 screws for the optical endstop - 4 M3x35 screws to assemble the carriage - 2 M3x40 screws to mount hemera (bottom mounting points) - 11 M3 nuts - 2 M3x6 FLAT-HEAD screws to mount hemera (top mounting points) It is very important that the last two M3X6 screws are flathead, with a head less than 2mm. Otherwise they will not fit between the frontplate and the carriage. The optical endstop I use is this one: https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/32817734162.html Of course, you will also need the square nuts from the hemera kit and whatever you need to mount your part cooling fan. I can recommend this one that fits very well: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4042492 (you will need to change the orientation of the heater block for this fan duct). I printed all the parts with PETG, 5 perimeters, 40% Infill. The EndPin for the optical endstop must be black (or painted with a marker). They will require support in places where there are nuts or countersunked holes. I have included a small test cube with which you can check your tolerances before committing to the rest of the files. Basically, if your screw head and your nut fit in the holes, you're good to go. The assembling order is a bit special: - Assemble the front belt to the front plate - Assemble Hemera to the front belt with the top screws - Mount the top plate to the carriage - Mount the optical endstop to the bottom plate (mind the orientation) - Assemble the back belt to the back plate - Mount the bottom, back and front plate to the top plate with the four screws - Add the two screws to the bottom of hemera - Assemble the rest (BL Touch, Part Cooling fan, Cable management) I have added the F3Z files if anyone needs to change something. There is a variety of things you can change: - Adjust tolerances - Use normal endstop - Remove BLTouch mount and mount it at the front with the part cooling fan - Remove the tube mount and replace it with a cable chain mount Unfortunately, I don't have the time to make this change for other people at the moment, but the source files are here and I have tried to make them clean. Please post it as a remix if you change something. Finally, Hemera is an odd extruder: the mounting points are off-centered from the hotend. As a consequence, you will not have the same range in motion in the X direction. I have a 310x310 bed and was able to reach the full bed with the nozzle by mounting the bed off-centered 1cm to the left. The BL-Touch in this position will also not be able to reach the upmost front of the bed, but around 2-3cm away from it. The offset to use are X27.8 Y58.6, and you should of course calibrate your Z offset.
