This is a indoor trainer designed to simulate weight of a rapier. It accepts standard weights for dumbbells and I tested it with weights with 28 mm and 30 mm hole.It is designed for practice in small spaces where you cant swing a whole sword. Also it is made with minimum parts to reduce print time and space when it is not used, hence short crossguard, no finger rings and stuff like that.I used it with 2kg weights (that is more than standard rapier that is about 1kg) to practice point work and stamina.For assembly you will need some other parts besides the prints:M6 threaded rod 250 mm length.M6 ballcap screw.M6 butterfly screw.M6 nut.6mm washer (optional).I included a key for tightening of the nut that is inside the tip of the blade.I plan to add some different designs for handle, pommel and perhaps a longsword version.
