Helsinki Cathedral
myminifactory
Welcome to Helsinki! The idea of MiniWorld was sparked by a Finnish friend who wondered if 3D printing could help visually impaired people "see" famous buildings and landmarks in their cities. We're thrilled to share this creation with her, and can't wait to see her reaction! The Helsinki Cathedral is the stunning cathedral of the Diocese of Helsinki, Finland. Built between 1830 and 1852 as a tribute to Tsar Nicholas I of Russia, it was designed by Carl Ludvig Engel in the neoclassical style. This iconic landmark features a tall, green dome surrounded by four smaller domes, making it a standout feature in Helsinki's cityscape. Its symmetrical Greek cross design, complete with colonnades and pediments, is a testament to Engel's skill as an architect. MiniWorld is honored to bring this historical model to life! Each model is carefully crafted from scratch using SolidWorks or Fusion360 to ensure printability. We believe that sharing these 3D printable models of the world's most famous landmarks can help spread culture and education. Welcome to MiniWorld, where art meets technology!
