Helping hands the special editon
thingiverse
I built these custom helping hands because I was dissatisfied with standard models, so I designed my own. I printed them in PLA+ to ensure they can withstand normal soldering temperatures. I used aluminum foil for the reflector and a 5V LED strip for the lamp; there are 26 LEDs inside, simply connect it to your mobile charger. The vice can move forward and backward and rotate 360 degrees. This project will be updated in the future with even more innovative features. You'll need: 8 M3 nuts 2 M3x30 screws 1 M3x20 screw 1 M3x50 screw 5 millimeters of 2-millimeter thick aluminum wire for the vice You'll also have to grind a small notch near the end of the M3x50 screw. Additionally, you'll need a 5-centimeter by 5-centimeter solder sponge.
